Each sweet artwork in the collection is a replica of a classic painting found in some of the world’s most prestigious museums.

Commissioned by Jelly Belly Candy Company, California artist Kristen Cummings created The Masterpieces of Jelly Belly Bean Art Collection for the company’s private collection. The eight indiviual pieces were meant to capture the original vibrant colors of some of history’s most recognizable works of fine art. Each artwork in the collection was created over the course of several months and took up to 100 hours to complete. Cumings worked on small sections at a time and placed each Jelly Belly jelly bean by hand using mosaic-making techniques.

The Masterpieces of Jelly Belly Bean Art Collection is the first collection of re-created fine arts classics that was inspired by the Mona Lisa replica, which Cumings created in 2010. The concept of Jelly Belly Art was created in 1982 when San Francisco artist Peter Rocha created a portrait of President Ronald Reagan – a famous fan of Jelly Belly jelly beans.

The entire collection of Jelly Belly Art can be viewed online at the Jelly Belly Art Gallery, and includes celebrity portraits and other iconic images created using Jelly Belly jelly beans.

The Jelly Belly Acai Berry flavor of jelly beans has the dark, rich color of the berry native to the Amazon.  Its complex flavor tastes of exotic berries with delicious notes of chocolate, typical of real acai berries.
